Viera Connect.
Panasonic have introduced a new range of plasma and LCD televisions incorporating Viera Connect.
Viera Connect is a service which allows the television to display selected services from the Internet. The service starts with YouTube, BBC iPlayer, Eurosport, Picassa and Facebook. More services will be added as the Viera Connect service grows.
The unit needs to be connected to a broadband router to display the service - this can be done in a wired fashion, or by using an Ethernet wireless bridge.
